• alffcpu, let me assure you, there is nothing in this demo, which is NOT an animation :)
  The only technically interesting thing here is an asynchronous kernel, which plays animations from one buffer and unpacks new animations from another at the same time. All animations are designed with the idea that inverted frames are also frames, so that you get to play 4 frames at the price of storing two by inverting attributes.
