- 256b Acorn Raspberry Pi Risc OS 3dball by Kuemmel [web]
- @HellMood...yeah...may be 128b msdos as ARM has some nice features that save (e.g. 3 operand+shift => ADD r0,r1,r2,lsr#2), but of course any instruction 4 Byte and the setup stuff is still a bit big, I'll try to minimize further...next step is bytebeat + visuals in 256 Byte on that...working at linear framebuffer of 1920x1080x32Bit is great compared to our DOS low-fi-shit ;-)
Special thanks to phlamethrower for finding some obsolete stuff and OS support ! - isokadded on the 2020-04-12 19:26:23

- ...a 256 Byte (actually 248 Bytes now) intro of a classic effect to promote the most fun & cheap ARM platform to code in BASIC/ASM => Risc OS on a Raspberry PI - the intro runs at 1920x1080 / 50 FPS on an overclocked Raspberry PI4 at 2147 MHz - no shaders harmed ;-)

- @Hareiet: Yeah, in average about 4 Bytes per SSE instruction...I just wanted to give a start to that as it gives such a speed upgrade and should be explored more, as we hardly use the speed potential of modern CPU's within 256 byte sizecoding by now. With some extra instructions due to the dual issue pipelines we can even reach >50 FPS at 1024x768, but that's > 256 byte, check the extra and timing folder.
