• Rocked on the stream, rocks on the youtube. I am sure it rocks on a PC too, as long as your PC rocks (mine does not).
  
  This is not a "Numb Res". This is confused, a little angry and unfocussed. But the level of sophistication of the resulting imagery is such that everything else just pales next to it. I loved every second of it, so what if it won't replace _____________________ (place your favourite cncd/flt demo here).

• The same party also had "ZX Spectrum intro/demo compo" compo. Computers with more than 128K of memory and extra graphics modes were not allowed there.

• People do not really consider this configuration as "ZX Spectrum", although it is highly compatible with Russian ZX Spectrum clone called "Pentagon". Hence, it is a kind of "ZX Spectrum", but not really, hence "Wild".

• @Photon, the real name of the compo was "ZX Spectrum enhanced demo compo". Word "exhanced" was used in the same sense as discussed in the infamous thread. All 4 demos in the compo were made for the "ZX Evolution" with the TS-Conf, the configuration that adds a pretty powerful graphics accelerator to the machine.

• Lovely to see new names on the platform and I actually enjoyed the tune. The graphics are cool!

• Cool and the tune is great for the size. I wish there was a little bit more space left to fit one or two additional palettes. 1K compo this year was very tough :)

• I think this is a good example of a demo that lacks confidence and attempts to replace it with boobs. It is very funny that someone complained about tits' pictures being stolen from the internet. I personally would rather see stolen tits than coder's tits, to be honest.
  
  So the issue is, you write a demo, but you are not confident with the content so you flash some flesh to compensate. Strangely enough, _technically_ this demo is about as good as the demo that finished the first. Hence, my message is: do not doubt yourself, just do what you believe is right and stick to it till the end.

• I am not into ponies, to be completely honest, but this demo contains a hand-drawn cat, pint of beer, balalaika, bear and magic mushrooms. What else can anyone want from a tiny intro?

  There is a big discussion at Spectrum scene currently, whether we want more slow(ish) chunky 3D effects, the kind that was popular in the late 1990s, or whether one should focus more on 2D, brighter colours and overall design. It is actually lovely to see that C64 scene seems to be having similar doubts.
  
  As for me personally, I believe that overall design can contribute just as much to this perception of "impossible". I am one of those coders without strong moral principles. Although this may be mine own misguided way of thinking :)
