- demo Amiga AGA jenna loves eph by Ephidrena
- Too bad it's so damn short. Could've been a killer demo with a another minute or two. Starts promising but then it ends just when the real fun should start.
Anyways it's great to see Ephidrena does nowadays lots of experimental stuff, not just sticking with the same old style (well, nothing wrong with demos like Concrete, but then again I prefer this new stuff over that).
Keep up the good work! - isokadded on the 2002-04-30 08:37:43
- demo MS-Dos innuendo by Halcyon
- Hmm if I remember right it has some problems with IRQ higher than 7 or similar. Differend soundcard settings might help in running it.
Yeah and it is one sucky demo. Full of distortion, bugs in 3d engine, even the song doesn't play by the tick. So how couldn't you possibly like this? - rulezadded on the 2002-04-29 09:17:15
- demo Windows Pornstars by Carillon & Cyberiad [web]
- Well, I haven't seen this one yet since it seems to be almost impossible to find a nice setup where it works as it should. :) I guess that was the reason for disqualification as well, it simply didn't work on the compo computer (same as with Saint back in Asm'97, too).
My guess is that Win98+TNT2 might be the perfect setup for this demo but can't say for sure. - isokadded on the 2002-04-25 22:10:03
- demo MS-Dos Inside by Carillon & Cyberiad [web]
- Superb! THE demo from 1996. Everything is mentioned here already so there's no need for further words.

- demo Windows energia by Sunflower [web]
- To sum up my and other peoples thoughts on this - This is definitely a mood demo. If you're right mood for it you'll just love it - if not, you might find it boring and repeatitive.
I see 'Energia' as a nice step towards more fluid and music video alike designing in demos. We're not in 1995 anymore when it was enough to show a torus on screen. We have 3d acceleration and more possibilities to accomplish almost whatever you can think of. Still I found it a shame most of the modern demos are in the same pit together with -95 torus demos.
Of course way of representing multiplex content may be "boring alpha layer crap" for you if it's also too complex for you to comprehend. Just try again on some other mood and then you'll perhaps like it. It's not all about understanding everything.
Thus one of the definite highlights from Asm2k1 (together with Gerbera). And yes, it's actually too complex for me to comprehend as well. :) - rulezadded on the 2002-04-21 10:16:06
- demo MS-Dos paimen by Coma
- This demo makes me always thoughful. There are words and then again there are words. What you believe doesn't matter if it's all just aiming for a better life. The message is same time a bit naive but still very powerful.
And as Saffron mentioned, you really have to see Finnish version, English one sucks big time. Perhaps it'd be time for a final final version? - rulezadded on the 2002-04-20 19:11:10
- 80k MS-Dos tomu by Coma
- A nice one. 80k limit at DML96 allowed quite much more video to be put in the intro than normally... Also last intro track I've heard from Groo. Niisk.
