- Urm, okay. As much as I love having Darklite at any party, I don't think random party video from the camping wagon counts as a demoscene prod. Not particularly interesting :-)

- demo invitation Windows Partly Cloudy by Outracks [web] & Youth Uprising & kvasigen [web]
- So, my take (thumb?) on this, based on the party version:
- I like the visuals (in particular, the skybox is pretty nice, as are some of the silver balls/balloons parts), although they do get a bit boring after a while. (Also, I don't like the typography all that much, but I guess it's a matter of taste.)
- Dubstep is not really my cup of tea, but lug00ber and Optimize's execution is as always good.
BUT: I don't really think they go all that well together. Audio and visuals just feel out of pace with each other, which makes this a “well, okay, it's an invite, let's go on with planning for the party” thing for me. :-)
So, I like the parts, although I feel the sum could be better. Still, should have won, and worth a thumb pointing to the clouds. - rulezadded on the 2010-11-08 18:52:18

- demo Linux Binary of Babel by Segfault Garden
- Crazy idea. Looks like a demo from the early nineties, though :-)

- demo Windows Anoxia Redux by Andromeda Software Development [web] & Minimalartifact [web]
- ASD = Assembly-reuse Satori Development? :-) This feels like Navis responding to the critics saying “let someone else make your music, and then design your demo to the music instead of the other way round”. The end result is amusing, but not too thumbable. :-)

- demo Windows fr-041: debris. by Farbrausch [web]
- Even after three years, I fail to see what all the hype is about. Sure, it's an OK prod, and there's a lot packed into hundred-and-whatever kB, but there's where it stops for me.
I see it's changing other people's lives, though. :-) - isokadded on the 2010-09-09 23:23:55
