  - use mipmaps and anti aliasing

• It feels like they got too much music to fill with visuals. The repetitive usage of the same scenes spoils to otherwise great atmosphere.

• At least we had a lot to talk at the compo. The animation!! Actually it would have been even cooler, played backwards. And you could have played with scene recycling even more.

• I second dipswitch: the reference to relaise is obvious. Guessing the insane amount of work and love invested into this production, it felt unfair to be shown that early in the compo. Nevertheless it somehow hurt how so much work just didn't get off.
  
  Some subjective things:
  ++ loved the angel -- really really. Maybe the most beautiful image I took from the competition.
  ++ loved the lighting of the face (was it subsurface scattering?)
  ++ lighting of the sky/airplane scene
  + use of DOF in the beginning scene
  - overall impression was too mawkish
  - the direction / camera / music / message didn't get me
  - the lighting / camera angles of the house scenes was weird: It somehow made it look like a small prop in an indoor studio
  - the architecture behind the angle stature (Using references not only speeds things up)
  
  Thumbs up effort and the modeling.
