  I've seen many clueless things on pouet, but this is still quite close to the top. So platform should not play any role on how to judge something? I'll start thumbing down all those C64 demos then.. and the amiga demos.. and..
  
  But anyway. Why are the PC cracktros so often so very inferior technically? I mean, how is it even possible to make a jerky scroller on a 2GHz machine with a video card from this decade? Or how is it possible to make a starfield effect with non-antialiased stars? I know what they thought of jerky scrollers back in the day..

  Boohoo. Why not love making a little better productions? Also, by that logic no one could ever thumb down anything since it would be insulting. And personally I'm happy to be insulting towards people who like to hook stuff to vsync on a modern PC (now how clueless is THAT?).

  Seriously, there's no reason to make cracktros that are fucking ugly, fucking slow and sound fucking horrible. There's plenty of reason to make good ones, like the Neural cracktros which are actually pleasing to the eyes and ears. The funny thing is, that if it was the "oldskool" days, makers of such pieces of shit would be laughed out of the scene.
