- ..possibly a small one from idiots needing to distance themselves from people who still don't feel the need to go to Germany at easter to feel "elite".
Having attitude because you can afford a planeticket is a bit.. childish? - isokadded on the 2005-04-04 07:19:51

- Yes, the improvement from last year's demo is remarkable, both codewise and designwise.
I'm looking forward to the next production. - rulezadded on the 2005-03-30 22:04:21

- @Stelthz: as samwise said, this is the partyrelease, and that is probably why you have problems. The final should fix these problems, as they always do :)
It ran smoothly on the compomachine, which if I understood correctly sported a GF 6800, but I've heard rumours of problems on GF6600. But yes, the final should fix it :) - isokadded on the 2005-03-29 09:56:35

- Actually, you don't want to hear this track on a big sound system, as the soundmix is totally shit. What happened at The Gathering was that the whole audience sat with their fingers in their ears throughout the whole demo.
However, lucky people will hear a reworked version of this track when I play live at this year's The Gathering together with fellow producer Optimize.
..and yes, Mark Caro definitely has his share of responsibility for this one :) - isokadded on the 2005-01-31 01:08:07

- my shitty gfxcard only has 2 multitexturing something :(
not going to complain too much about a demo not supporting my three year old geforce2ti, but since this is an invit and not a demo (at least in principle), maybe it should be possible to view it for as many people as possible?
Anyway, the music rocks and little bitchard is my God.

- Quote Rasmus:
i havent seen this demo, but i wonder how a group which first release was 2 years ago (according to pouet) can be nominated in "breakthrough" - isn't that for newbies?
</quote>
Quote awards.scene.org (2002 awards):
"AND is not really a newcomer but creating one of the most impressive 64k intros ever, he has definitely claimed his place at the top. Squish was an impressive one-man show."

Own personal opinion:
I don´t see any reason why you can´t have a breakthrough even if you´ve been in the scene for several years. A breakthrough is usually defined as the event in which someone gets widely known or accepted, and the amount of released demos (in this case) don´t really have anything to do with that. I think that it´s safe to say that with both this demo and the winning demo from TG this year 2004 is definitely the breakthrough year for outracks as a demoscene group.
I would support a nomination, not that I really think anybody would ask me ;) - isokadded on the 2004-08-12 20:42:22
