- demo Windows Mystical machine by Ananasmurska [web]
- Props for making something original, but some of the scenes could have been a bit shorter...

- 4k Windows Iwonder by Hardread [web]
- This 4K would have been quite good only 6 months ago, but I think that the standards have gone up a bit since then (what with Assembly and all). Even so, this would have been a thumbs up without that cheezy XOR texture.

- demo Windows pornonoise by Lunix & mfx [web]
- I didn't enjoy this one as much as Leitmotive. It feels harsher and more jumpy, somehow. Part of the problem, I think, is the overuse of heavy framebuffer distortion in most scenes. Even so, the music and sync alone deserve a thumbs up.

- demo Windows little ball of water by Outracks [web]
- The water effects (bump mapping, caustics, & such) were cool, but the overall demo seems lacking. The concept is interesting, since it's rare to see demos with such a subtle deeper meaning. On the other hand, the scene design and camera motion were pretty bad. I propose a new term for this type of thing: coderdesign.
The demo rulez anyhow. - rulezadded on the 2004-09-27 22:46:29
- demo MS-Dos Wild 8088 Corruption by Hornet [web]
- Best wild compo entry by far. Oldschool PC to the max!

- 64k Windows Cubetro by Northern Dragons [web]
- When I first heard the concept for this intro, I was quite skeptical as to how it would turn out. The original concept, reproducing the Pilgrimage Iinviiation's cube in 4K, certainly had technical merit. With the size limit pushed up into the 12K region, I didn't know what to think. You guys surprized me by making good use of the extra space. The style is untypical of most ND productions, with much more thought placed into the overall visual appeal.
About the scenepoetry: I find that I enjoy the prod better if I just ignore it.
About the rating: Thumbs up for this being one of the nicer Northern Dragons productions to date. - rulezadded on the 2004-09-26 20:07:51
- demo Windows Leitmotiv by Lunix
- This is one of my all-time favorite demos. The neon colors, the cool electro soundtrack, the perfect sync, and the software rendering put me in demoscene heaven each time I watch it.

- 64k Windows nelikvideo by Unlimit [web]
- I like the loaderbar. This intro has a nice collection of objects and scenes, but everything feels to lowrez and grainy. It is possible for software rendering too look good, but the objects and scenes must be designed with the goal in mind. The graphics in this particular intro would have been better off accelerated.

- 64k Windows The Crime by Abhorus [web]
- The colors were horrid and the progression was slow. Still, there are some good ideas here. More experience and better technique could have made a good production out of this.
