- demo Amiga AGA Megademo by Death Handlers
- SENSATIONAL ANIMATION!

- demo Windows Retrofitting by Cocoon [web]
- Absolutely beautiful graphics, but I don't think the flashing, jumping and upbeat music works very well for a dark theme like this.

wade: i dont want to raise false hopes here, but as soon as the pouet2 engine is done, there might be potential for reusing the basecode for that.
Good to hear! Sounds very promising indeed!! :) - isokadded on the 2008-10-21 17:43:09

We need a gfx/music kind of pouet
Agreed! That would be awesome!
But we also need someone with a lot of time and a lot of web coding experience to volunteer for such a project. :) - isokadded on the 2008-10-21 17:26:19

- I don't have particularly strong views for or against this kind of release, but playing devil's advocate for a moment I do feel that if procedural graphics and single routine releases are allowed (128-256bytes) then it's unfair to treat this release as any less of a production.
You can argue that if single pics and music tracks are released in the prods section on Pouet, then the site will soon be flooded and out of control. That's very true, but in my opinion it is flooded with small releases anyway.
Anyway, I'm just glad I'm not a moderator and I don't have to make those decisions. :) - isokadded on the 2008-10-21 17:24:47
- demo Windows Hugi#35 Headlines - Disruption in Chaos Theory by Nah-Kolor [web] & Hugi [web]
- Outstanding!
I found the switching camera annoying, but that one thing aside, the presentation is gorgeous! The music is very well done too and really adds to the atmosphere.
Really classy stuff here. - rulezadded on the 2008-10-19 02:32:33
- demo Amiga AGA synthesis by Network [web]
- It had some tough competition at Assembly, but a really superb demo with a fantastic combination of effects, graphics and music.
Very underrated group! - rulezadded on the 2008-10-18 17:45:21
- demo Amiga AGA Relic by Nerve Axis [web]
- If anyone is interested, Nerve Axis appeared on British TV to talk about the demoscene and this demo. I have uploaded the video to youtube here:

I've also uploaded a video of Relic playing live at Assembly, with crowd cheers etc, here:

Sorry for the low quality, but the VHS tape was never great quality to begin with. - isokadded on the 2008-10-17 02:19:28
- demotool Amiga OCS/ECS Demomania
- I remember being a beta tester for this program, though I never actually saw the finished version.
Cool program though. - rulezadded on the 2008-10-10 02:39:22
- 4k procedural graphics Windows leizex by Rgba [web]
- Sorry, I was mistaken...it does move! I'd still like to see it make up part of an intro, but I'll give it a thumb up.
