- Had some nice moments, but I really abhor the abstract "amiga 30y" design in this. I'd really have preferred something that Rez would have designed if you really wanted to do a fusion of modern and amiga stuff. Or whatever this is, it just doesn't really come together for me at all.

- demo Windows DEMO2 by Ekspert
- I really enjoyed it. It's weird and the music fits the mood perfectly.
I have to say that UE4:
1. Doesn't bring talent
2. Doesn't do just about anything content-wise for you
3. Still has a bunch of things you have to work on to get something good out of it
4. Is just another tool for making demos
Now, I find it a bit disturbing that the choice of tools affects voting, and digs up a whole another kind of can of worms relating to the question of "purity of a production", whether everything has to be custom coded from the ground up.
I've always liked the analogy of "does a painter mix their own paints every single time? No. Do they physically make their own wooden palettes and brushes? No necessarily, but they can. Can their paintings still be masterpieces if they didn't make the canvas? Yes." - rulezadded on the 2015-08-04 07:51:21
- demo Amiga AGA Master Control Program by Desire [web]
- I really liked the face robot thingy scene. The zooming gates suffer a lot from the artifacting / speed, and like truck said in the compostudio the ending mirrored vector line things didn't work that well. Great tune though and great 3D engine!

- So wonderful is the glitch. This is the demo I wanted to make at some point, glad you made it instead. The track is absolute perfection.

- demo Windows Monolith by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Most of it is "classic ASD style". But the end scene. That's what makes the demo. The demo could only be that scene and it would be as breathtakingly transcendent then.
Bravo.
This is the ASD demo I've been waiting for since Evolution of Vision. - rulezadded on the 2015-08-02 01:18:51
