- mmmh no. This DEMOnstrates nothing but, humour, ..that's ok, and it's funny, but not in this category.

- demo Amiga AGA Brutalism by Capsule
- Nice concept and design.
A bit more brutal architecture scene, running on that awesome 3d engine of yours, wouldn't hurt anybody.
nice prod! - rulezadded on the 2019-04-24 19:27:15
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Eon by The Black Lotus [web]
- Runs on a regular factory A500? OCS!
This increases the appeal!
A such nice and mature way of telling a beautiful history using the effects and demoscene stuff as a vehicle to archieve, better than being FX the concept on a pastiche dadaist-cake with 150bpm hard-tech-rave music.
You can still raising a couple of degrees the temperature of a CPU by telling a story and amusing while showing your tricks.
The rational and clever use of the hardware limitations to show us a "drawn" reality intead of trying to failing reproducing true reality at 2fps.
2d and 3d wisely mixed. - rulezadded on the 2019-04-24 12:42:40
- 4k demo ZX Spectrum Megademica 4K by Serzhsoft
- After a whole pair more of views.
I can't stop wondering how this marvel might work.
My first guess is that all scene are pre-rendered 16 frame loops.
All "videos" stored in 4k, using some kind of nice hyper-clever global redundandy character-block compressor-decompressor, so each scene/cut is pre-rendered using realtime versions of the scene produced by, what seems an Amiga or Win32 PC raster engine, and then ported to a 32 x 24 char SCR frame by frame, compressed by overall redundancy and played.
It's my guess...the other way around is coding all the scenes, in realtime, in 8bit asm with no floating point ...just take 7 scenes and try to imagine the size of the assembler code in bytes just might eat the whole RAM of the poor speccy, and you just reproduce the scene 2 seconds or less? with no variations on the tunnels trajectories, plasmas or spirals? does not make sense. - isokadded on the 2019-04-24 10:39:21

- demo Windows Pecram by Altair
- short but elegant, synched and well designed.
Music is like a slow-mo trap, style that I don't like at all, but this is out of topic, ...so, anyway the music style perfectly fits in with the chessie colour-scheme and concept, then I guess works. - rulezadded on the 2019-02-07 12:39:53
- demo Windows Dying Stars by orange
- Got to watch it again in other configurations to get the realtime coding effort.
Nice to see Orange back again, new toys I guess, and nice how you exploited the new hardware capabilities.
Eagger to follow a making off on your new technology.
Really impressive.
Artistically ...well nobody uses that dirty jacks anymore.
Just kidding. REally good stuff in here. - rulezadded on the 2018-08-30 22:52:43
- demo Windows Rogue Keyframes by Pyrotech
- You could use a bit of DOF. can't harm anyone.
The music lacks a bit of force in some moments.
The models and animations looks nice
Nice packaging of the stuff in UE4.
Now, next time try not to rush and pursue an clearer contept.
UE4 is an unlimited weapon, use it with wise and containtment.
I'd like it! - rulezadded on the 2018-08-30 22:37:02
- 4k Windows Shoot for the Moon by Alcatraz [web]
- Absolutely like the music.
A great and succesful effort here trying to tell us a story.
Well played visual resources. Nice to use your own universe rules.
Looks like a shoot'em'up, really.
More stuff please! - rulezadded on the 2018-07-11 06:39:12
