- 1k Linux Windows flow2 by Auld
- Yes, that’s quite cool. I didn’t like the screen-shot very much, but the animation looks really great! And of course thanks for the source code – this weekend I had a lot of fun playing around with shaders for the first time, reimplementing several of the last century 2D effects. After playing with several fractals, functions and effects I appreciate the 1k even more because it takes some time to find/invent, implement, animate, style and optimize functions that they look that nice as shaders in an only 1k C application. Big Thumb Up!!! (btw: was it your own function or did I missed an interesting webpage?)

- demo Linux Windows MacOSX PPC VARIFORM by Kewlers [web]
- It has some really nice effects – and after hearing it nearly every day for several years I would say I love the sound track. All together it is clearly a very good demo – therefore Thumb Up!

- demo Windows Captive by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- I think it’s a cool piece of digital art. It’s important that there are groups trying to go new ways and creating experimental stuff many people will possibly not like that much. Cool concept, cool soundtrack and a really cool ending. Thumb Up!

- demo Windows gerbera by Moppi Productions
- Great Demo! You can easily feel that theier “devotion GAVE THEM THE power TO CREATE”. Thumb Up! I love the clouds and how the music and picture support each other … but I remember, that I was always a bit sad, that there was not a little bit “more” ...

- musicdisk Windows MacOSX PPC MacOSX Intel Rebellion by Rebels
- Great stuff in all aspects! It is definitely the best music disk I have seen so far (ok, ok I tried only 4 or so in this century …). It looked as if they wanted to do something against the pretty poor fun factor and design experience of other music disks – and they succeeded! Thumb Up! (Btw: even if I liked it really much – after about the 2-3 tune I switched back to the music disk – it does not repaint the front end, and a few seconds later the whole machine crashed and restarted ?!)

- 64k MS-Dos Essence by Funk!
- Wow! decent in only 64k - it was really cool at the time! Big Thumb Up!
Btw: just a few minutes ago I talked to Digisnap and he told me that after the sanction guys have seen his 64k they told him they can do it in only 4k – and as phoenix already mentioned, a year later they proved it with their legendary “Omniscent” production (http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=482).

- demo Windows aether by mfx [web]
- No doubts - it’s a great demo from an art, effects, sync and style point of view. Thumb Up! But I can’t really enjoy this demo style – it feels “exhausting“ in some way and there is not really a pleasant anticipation if someone is going to show it again. Do you know the trailer of “The Simpsons Movie” ? – it’s not a sign of real taste – but I like the part with he bunny.

- demo Windows 195/95 by Plastic [web]
- Stunning 3D models, really beautiful pictures and the absolutely best HDR stuff I had seen up to this point … and it has a great soundtrack of course! Hurt me – but in front of the bigscreen I like it more than “aether” – even if it was short, unfinished, not synced nor really compatible and much like an object show.
