- You can of course argue if this is an enjoyable demo or not.
But what I find really remarkable is that despite all the clamour for uncreative A.I.-generated graphics, an unusual and independent style has been created that also fits well with the Amiga.
And without the support of A.I., such a simplistic demo would probably never have been created in the first place because it would have been far too much work hand-pixeling all the graphics.
I still don't get why people see this as a personal insult, though. - isokadded on the 2025-04-30 21:20:13

- One idea stretched to fill a whole demo.
The torus (gramophone) and protracker worked really well. - rulezadded on the 2025-04-29 14:41:08

- Good to see Hannibal is finally back in business.
Probably everyone was waiting for this demo since he first showed his dev toolchain a decade ago :)
All the effects are visually great and an obvious technical improvement over basically everything anyone did before, especially the incredible voxel.
Somehow the flow doesn't work really well for me, though - in particular in the first half. And I'm not really sure why - if you look at the parts (e.g. kefrens bars which look like dragon scales, a firey bitmap rotator and a picture of a killed dragon) it should fit together perfectly well but somehow it feels like unconnected parts... - rulezadded on the 2025-04-25 10:16:55

Samples were probably sampled, too...
Most of the samples were actually generated by me.
Sorry, Soda7, I probably didn't express that well. My point was not that something in your track could have been ripped, but that sampling (a process comparable to scanning) is recognised as a cornerstone of digital music-creation but there is always a huge fuss about visual references.
I found "the samples are sampled" an obviously absurd statement to stress that point. - isokadded on the 2025-04-24 11:41:27

If there is anything to improve, I would say the car lacks a sense of weight. - rulezadded on the 2025-04-23 17:24:00

- Difficult to compare with Dune, of course, but imho just as great because of the funny story and character design.

- When Virgill told me the working title is "NUDE" I didn't get it until the beam-slide appeared ;)
It's of course super amazing, great lighting and nice touch with the footsteps.
What would have made it even more "WOW" would have been a little bit more animation on the sandworm. - rulezadded on the 2025-04-23 17:03:23

- Nice track and sync!
I don't really care where the pixels came from; years ago they were scanned or downloaded, now they are generated.

- Some really nice baked 3d in here.
The rendering precision had a bit of playstation1 flavour, though.
And the text overlays didn't really work with the vocals. - rulezadded on the 2025-04-23 15:24:01
