- demo Commodore 64 Deus Ex Machina by Crest & Oxyron [web]
- This is one of the first demos you show people new to the C64 or the demo scene in general. While it wasn't groundbreaking codewise, I don't think this demo has been surpassed when it comes to the combination of music, graphics and flow. This is quality, pure and simple.

- demo Commodore 64 Fresh Dose by Speedfisters
- Ok-ish fake demo. Nice tune by musicman.
paranoid: The timing's only off if you're watching it in VICE with a huge 300 ms sound buffer. - isokadded on the 2008-04-01 07:52:00

- Very nice animation player, and a pretty animation. Basically this is a music video though. Still, thumb up for idea and implementation.

- demo Commodore 64 Cauldron by Resource [web] & The Dreams & Exceed [web]
- Among the best 4x4 stuff I have seen + nice graphics + nice (but reused) tune.

- demo Commodore 64 8-bit Garden by Digital Sounds System
- A few more sprites in Knoeki's part and fewer bugs in gregg's and this would have been a thumb up. Nice to see some progress, no less.
One could of course argue that bugs are inherent in such a grassy landscape... ;-) - isokadded on the 2008-03-23 08:49:48
