- demo Java Back2Back
- It's not great or anything, but it does manage to capture a sort of oldschool feeling. Probably am I blinded by the music, but anyway, it's not offensive :)

- demo Windows Fair play to the queen by Candela
- I think the really big point about it is that it is actually fun and entertaining to watch. Much thanks to the actual work put into making decent synchronizations as overtones of the action in the screen. One single character animation, but one that is expressive. The particles are a bit of a letdown, but in the end the demo just the right length, with a cheerful soundtrack that manages to combine old nostalgic eurodance touches with acoustic instruments and chip sounds.

- demo Windows Fågeln by The Crazy Germans
- With such a fat track, it is a shame not to exploit it fully with more punchy, dynamic graphics. Motions here feel somewhat too linear, and the visuals are overall not so rich. ++ points though for the blur/filter synchronization, especially the one towards the end.

- demo Windows fr-045: life after by Farbrausch [web]
- I think this demo lacks a single element that would have made for me its atmosphere stellar: Actual background noises in addition to the soundtrack, such as field recordings. By this I mean for example a strong wind noise in the scene with the stenciled woman zoom. Things like that would have connected strongly the visuals and the ambient track.
As it is now, you only get a few intermittent connections from the soundtrack to the visuals (those clicks) but nothing in the other direction. - isokadded on the 2005-04-13 12:10:11
- wild Animation/Video you need to listen. by Nosfe [web]
- Actually when I saw the title of the wild at BP I thought you did just that.
Even if it would've been a terrible idea, in retrospect it could have shown the .. erm .. not terribly sophisticated noise that emanated from the audience at some point.
As for the soundtrack, it was rather sweet. Not sure the complexity of the visuals, at least their rather uniform texture throught the video matched it. - isokadded on the 2005-04-13 09:48:15
- wild Animation/Video CNbNPCK by kosmoplovci [web]
- The video flickering could get annoying but it was somehow smoothed out so wasn't so aggressive. The audio was just starting to focus and get more interesting when kb asked people for a justification to cut it from the big screen. I'm sure he realizes this isn't exactly a nice precedent, to disqualify a work on stage like this.

- demo Windows i.can by Digital Dynamite [web]
- Nice feeling. But it's just based on its emotional effect. It ends up seeming rather sterile for these reasons. Another point is that the effect requires a huge sound-system, and an audience unable to change the sound volume. Both things are probably not available at home (Unless you somehow tie yourself up on your chair)
