- I applaud the transition to larger formats. First an 8k at Revision and now a whopping 40k, awesome! Can't wait for the day you arrive at an actual 64 kilobytes. :D Even though in this case it feels like you could've made it much smaller still but didn't really care to optimize for size.
The larger size and all the extra room it brings makes the lack of confidence in direction slightly more apparent. The atmosphere is maintained throughout the demo, but scenes feel somewhat disjointed and awkwardly paced at times. Some are fun though: I especially enjoyed the title scene, the blobs and the credits. In my opinion the rendering has become a little more palatable—I don't particularly miss the overdone DOF of some of the previous works. The soundtrack is also good and fitting, though perhaps not among my favorites from keen. Overall, good job, both of you. Please keep exploring the format! o/ - rulezadded on the 2018-08-23 11:06:58

However, I didn't mean that in the context of winning (and neither did Gargaj most likely), but rather in realizing the artistic potential of an idea, which is never a bad thing regardless of your goals. Even something as simple as a timely expert opinion can help elevate a product. I implore you to at least consider it because I generally like what you do and I want to like it more, that's all there is to it. :)

- This reminded me of Paleozoa, except more spoopy. And instead of buzzsawing my ears, it hammers them. :D Decent effort, though.

- Yeah, I agree with Juippi actually. This intro has the trappings of a simple concept about to be executed spectacularly, but quickly dials its ambition down as if afraid of taking itself seriously. At least that's my impression. Still decent though.

- Motivational thumb for a JS 1k with a solid design perspective. Ideally it should have engaged the audience better, with a more coherent soundtrack to that end. So that's what I'd like to see next time.

- Underappreciated imo, should've ended up at least a couple places higher. That said, it did look and sound better on the big screen than it does at home, for who knows what reason (perhaps it's the simplistic shading that becomes more noticeable now that my brain doesn't have to fill the gaps left by my less-than-ideal eyesight). That said, it's also an OSX 4k with open source and a decent amount of content that attempted to tell some kind of story, however rudimentary. A thumb is in order.
