• ok first things first: for me, the demo is a clear winner. Ambience, color, effects all top-notch. It takes guts to pull that through. Only 3-4 scenes but done to perfection!
  
  When I watched it I thought that the music was amazing. It fits with the demo perfectly. Unfortunately I found out that it is almost entirely copied from another source. It doesn't affect my judgement on the demo (I still believe it is the best so far in 2010) but reminded me of this:

  It is interesting to see how the same people reacted then and now. I remember the award ceremony at assembly 2003 when "basketball-bat" abyss announced that they'd be disqualified for that (I believe they were going to get 3rd place prize). Imagine their horror! They played with fire and got burned badly.
  
  So, always, be careful with referencing.
  
  Nevertheless, great demo and a thumb up.

• am I the only one who actually found the whole thing at best mediocre? Very few scenes were remotely entertaining. The rest? Obnoxious, highly saturated colors and bland static models.
  
  Very far from 3rd place in my book.

• hear that amusic, it is all your fault for not finishing the music for our asm2010 planned demo in time for bp2010! :-).
  
  But here is a thumb for being the last demo of the last breakpoint.

• I can't really put my finger on it but certain elements of "rove" left me cold. Please take my criticism lightly, since this is clearly a solid, rememberable demo that will rank high amongst other production of this year; make that *any* year.
  
  But I think it had the potential to reach another level altogether if, maybe, it was rearranged differently:
  
  for a start it felt without a purpose: a fly-over with certain, rather disconnected elements (ribbons/tower ribbon?) appearing twice or more without any significant alteration in the way the look or move.
  
  The last minute typography (actually *all* typography) was a let-down, felt like an afterthought with its bland type and presentation. I didn't quite get the point of binary base but I'm sure optimus would find it geekily cool.
  
  On the plus side there were a couple of killer effects (the flock and the mirroring at the beginning) and the music was fitting (albeit not very memorable).

• Very well crafted, clearly the best playpsyco demo so far. Solid, enjoyable work:
  
  + some great new effects
  + good texturing
  + ambience
  + runs pretty fast on old hardware
  
  - music not my taste
  - what does it mean? does it go anywhere? if there was a plot then I missed it.
