- @daxx: I agree, but that is the label's (in this case bitfellas) decision/problem/fault ;) Actually, Little Bitchard did mastering for the Variform remixdisk himself, iirc. Probably for that exact reason :)
I'll see what I can do about the channels (gonna be a fucking big download though :D). - isokadded on the 2008-08-11 08:56:52

- @daxx: well, I had a listen to your remaster of my track, and I must say that I'd send it back if I had received it from a mastering house. You basically mashed the levels to smithereens, and the result is a squashed mix and enough treble to make ears bleed.
While I will not argue that my mixdown is questionable, I did not try to make a modern day <-1db RMS mixdown. I did test several settings for the master bus, and decided against going for a "loud" mixdown as I don't think it fits the track. Also, I in general prefer to not compete in the loudness wars, as I want to leave to the listener to decide how loud they want to hear a track.
You should remember that it's the artist who should decide what kind of sound he wants, not the mastering engineer.
Now I'm looking forward to hearing the other tracks. Big ups to all who contributed to the compo/musicdisk \o/ - isokadded on the 2008-08-11 00:03:36
- 64k Windows Panic Room by Fairlight [web]
- Exceptionally good 64k. Arrogance coupled with actually backing it up rules supreme, and this 64k backs up mostly everything. Love it!

- demo Windows TMDC lives again by Northern Dragons [web] & Bawlz
- Nice design, poor music. Apart from that, it's just a software rendered demo with an extremely low resolution.
