- game Windows KuTTre BoBBle by Unknown Productions [web] & The Lords Of The Bits [web]
- i forgot to say all of this (graphics, music, code -except for Ddraw initialization-) was made -from scratch- in about 1 hour, half of which was spent eating raw sausages and drinking coke (read the NFO ;D).
That's why we had to rip the blue dragon and just modify the intro screen (instead of doing our own).
That's also why I didn't have time to code the enemy killing (once inside a bubble), but we did have several levels edited in the source code, hehe ;) - isokadded on the 2002-04-22 03:23:02

- Which reminds me: this will clear the font smoothing (cleartype ;D) setting on Windows XP, if you have it on, remember to set it after you run it. This is due to some stupid thing I made for printing text without smoothing for an intro (which we never finished) from which I used the mode initialization routines :-)
Sorry for that, don't expect a bugfix :) - isokadded on the 2002-04-21 21:23:23
- demo Windows Blue Wire by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- it's damn slow on my Athlon 1200, also too short and lacks effects. The music is good but repetitive, and I don't think it sounds oldschool at all (plus, it's an mp3, which makes a 2,5Mb download a waste). It's nice to see newcomers, but you should learn a bit more before releasing any production, or at least, make a good production out of what you know.
No thumbs down because of "newbieness" from Nina's part, but definitely the demo is not worth the download. Keep working, I expect to see more and better from you soon :) - isokadded on the 2002-04-21 20:09:30
- demo Windows Edge Of Forever by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- I like it, but I see too much of Cadence and Cascade here (transitions, etc.). Nice effects though, and nice soundtrack.
I don't personally believe in 11Mb demos, that's why I'm not giving it a rulez here. It's a good demo, but not worth the size of it.
Good work guys, keep on producing - isokadded on the 2002-04-21 19:51:41
- demo Windows Fast Made 2 by Unknown Productions [web]
- Oh yes, sorry about not crediting shash, he's the one in the right on the tree-fall (the other two being tolemaC and I) :-)
We made tons of pictures that night but didn't have time to include and synch all of them... you might (or then again, might not) expect a final version with more pictures :D - isokadded on the 2002-04-21 19:07:19
- game Windows KuTTre BoBBle by Unknown Productions [web] & The Lords Of The Bits [web]
- uhm, i made this game under 2K, and works in my XP too. Update your videocard drivers, that should help.
Most videocards with latest drivers should be able to set 320x240x32bpp
Good luck! - isokadded on the 2002-04-21 19:03:28
- demo Windows LINEAR by Creative Mind
- Ok. The demo is NOT worth the 2.40Mb. It'd have been nice to see in 1996, maybe, on a 486, or something. Your attitude Fillbert, is not the best for being a newcomer in the demoscene. Most of these people have already done it better (about the last comment). You can't pretend to be oldskool and then blame the 400x300x32bpp mode, go and use 320x200, noone is forcing you to use 400x300... and AFAIK, oldschool demos didn't use photoshop filters for graphics (graphics, which look like 256 colors, i'm not sure why this would make a 2.40Mb package).
Overall, a good try. Definitely not a rulez production, and your attitude and comments make me give it a sucks. Be more gentle, next time.
(And yes, looks a lot a tutorial-like demo) - sucksadded on the 2002-04-19 19:16:42
- demo Windows Fast Made 2 by Unknown Productions [web]
- Sorry about that rp, the tune was made directly out from another tune from where we used all the samples, we didn't have time to make our own or anything.
The sample credits were in the module itself, but it's packed and we didn't think about that after 19 hours non-stop (after no sleeping for 4 days).
My apologies. We will release an updated .TXT file with all sample credits, I promise.
Meanwhile, sample credits go to:
- kjwise
- rohformat
- dupont
- cosmic
- kyoto
- sml
That's it. Sorry once again - isokadded on the 2002-04-16 14:15:50
