- demo MS-Dos 73 Million Seconds by Pulse [web]
- First I thought, "eh, this has 'Visualice' written all over it, surely can't be that different from the other thirty I have seen"... and then it went and did something completely unexpected, and that was fucking cool.

- Btw, almost forgot how nice the preloader tune is in this 64k. If you're watching it in 2018 or later you don't have a chance to hear it in the actual intro, but you can find it in the musicdisk.

- 64k Windows fr-022: ein.schlag by Farbrausch [web]
- I remember liking this a lot back in 2002–2003. But unlike Poem to a Horse, the looks and the aesthetics didn't age all that well, apparently...
That being said, the (very short) nightclub scene and the final scroller music are excellent. A weak thumb. - rulezadded on the 2018-08-31 15:25:09
- 4k MS-Dos Omniscent by Sanction [web]
- Oh wow, I've never seen this before. Even though my memories of the original Descent are... let's say less than pleasant (Disorientation: The Game), the demo still managed to poke at a few nostalgia strings. Other than that it's still quite solid, with a realistic camera path and whatnot. Good stuff.

- demo Wild AONDEMO by Shiru
- @Gargaj: As far as I understand, CC orgas combined the ZX demo compo with a generic oldschool demo compo for this year, which prompted the following line in the 640k demo rules: "Demo for ZX Spectrum compatible computers and other computers released before 1992." (The part about the other computers wasn't there a year ago.) I suppose nobody bothered to clarify which of the bullet list items that follow it pertain to ZX prods in particular, but it's obvious that not all of them could be applicable to "other computers".

- demo Wild AONDEMO by Shiru
- You don't make sense, SerzhSoft. Demos for obscure platforms have been presented via camera footage for years, and that has never been a problem. If only because not all of them have any sort of video outputs to capture the feed directly, to begin with. In some cases they have to be moved to wild compos because the rules define eligible platforms too strictly or don't allow any kind of video footage. But in this particular case it was fair game. No rule-twisting occurred here, and the footage didn't take advantage of the format in any way.

- demo Windows Artcity by Nah-Kolor [web] & anadune [web]
- Lots of really weird and messy design choices justify the poor ranking. Just to give an example, the logo at 1:25 nearly reads "Fart City" thanks to the emblem on the left that surely wasn't needed there. The soundtrack is a mixed bag as well; it's almost impressive how it tries so hard yet makes the utter lack of originality its goal at the same time.

- demo Windows Monoamine by Altair
- What a marvelous sense of design! Works so well without overloading the demo with effects. I wish it were a little less repetitive at times, but yeah, would love to see more from you guys!
