- demotool Amiga OCS/ECS StarTrekker V1.3 by Fairlight [web]
- Forgot the thumb. BTW did it have midi out as well? I remember only seeing midi input in trackers (except OctaMED) which I didn't find that useful.

- demotool Amiga OCS/ECS StarTrekker V1.3 by Fairlight [web]
- Oh gosh didn't remember it was released by Fairlight. Just had a chat about StarTrekker a couple of days ago. Saw this in around 1992-1993. I used and liked the FM synthesis of Startrekker. It was the first time I saw a usable software synthesis on a computer (AM doesn't count). I only had experience on LA synthesis so FM didn't feel as intuitive as it could have been with all the waiting, so I ended up only tweaking the presets. Too bad there's most likely nothing left of the tracks I made back then.

- And for me the greatest effort went to bypass the limitation of having frequencies below 242 Hz.

- wysiwtf: Orb made their entry for a different model (4032) which had the possibility of adjusting character height. 8032 lacks that feature.
I'm admit this isn't that great in terms of effects or design either, but it's what we came up with in two days before the party. - isokadded on the 2014-02-26 13:19:25

- 40k Amiga AGA Fad by Sonik Clique [web]
- One of my all time 40k favourites if not the best one. I'm even more amazed having heard that eye-q coded this on an Amiga 500 and had to test it on his mate's computer every time.

- demo Amiga AGA Magic by Embassy [web]
- The earlier youtube video seems to suffer from the moire caused by blitterscreen's zigzag pattern and uneven scaling. I made a 720p capture with UAE, cropped and downscaled to remove the pattern, then upscaled it to 720p. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgAKhKx501o
Preacher: The rotating transparent stuff is actually a skull I modelled and rendered a while earlier, just some lighting and offset effects added.
Well, all of the effects are 2d because I suck at math. I don't have any other demos waiting that would be at this stage. I was planning a demo with a lot better idea and script and borrowed parts of the Embassy's 3d engine but didn't have the energy and perspiration to get anything more done than the final scene with the skull (already seen in this demo), rising from the deep and floating on top of water with ripple and zbuffer effects. - isokadded on the 2013-12-11 14:49:45

- With a little more carefully selected colours, lighting and kerning I believe this could have placed better in the compo. Most scenes have quite a high saturation and opposite colours while they would have worked with a simple, almost unsaturated palette. Music works perfectly with the visuals and I lke the mood. Certainly hope seeing more stuff from you guys.
