• The video is captured from VGA, so it doesn't influence the executing PC. It is originally a P166 MMX where I switched turbo off => FSB 50 MHz. So the CPU is approximately as fast as the P133 due to the increased L1 cache size. However the PCI bus runs at 25 MHz.
  I didn't wanted to use a much faster PC as you suggested, as it would just run at max speed. You could however include some indicator how much time one frame takes by adding a border color change, millisecond timer, value output on exit or something else.
