• Obsolete? Is renoise also obsolete then, just because it uses a vertical tracker instead of a horizontal sequencer?
  Once again: Do not rely on what other people tell you and try it out yourself, and you'll see that MPT is not only an oldskool tracker which people can use to create e.g. oldskool chiptunes, but you can also use it to create "professional" (how I hate that expression) music with VST overload. Just because mobile phones can handle mp4, does that mean that people don't want to listen to chiptunes anymore?! Seriously, WTF!!!

• Also hitchhikr, please do not rely on what other people tell you and try out the latest (open) version of MPT to check what it plays wrong (if at all). A lot of bugs have already been fixed in the last few years.
