- demo Amiga AGA Atari Falcon 030 Silkcut by The Black Lotus [web]
- keith303, an amiga doesn't take that much space. it's almost like a big keyboard. so, get a better excuse or rather an amiga. :)

- report Windows Trax 10 years reunion report
- dalezy, get a decent computer. :) seriously, it should run on just about any pentium / athlon class computer with at least 128 megs of ram. no 3d acceleration or anything required.

- demo Windows fr-035: deleted scenes by Farbrausch [web]
- typical haujobb style blaa blaa farbrausch is ruined blaa blaa. people, go and get new brains.
on the demo itself. there's definitely great stuff in it, but for me this a step back from faded memories, especially in what comes to direction. the style is not incoherent but red line connecting all the dots is somehow missing. then again there's couple of great scenes alone in this demo that wipes most of the other other bp releases under the table. - rulezadded on the 2004-04-24 09:53:49
- invitation Windows Assembly 2004 invitation by Moppi Productions
- sometimes one effect is all it takes if you make it really well. moppi's assembly invitation is a perfect example of that. i get almost hypnotized when watching this thing, just looking at the growth of the plants and wondering where it'll go this time. soothing music fullfills the "trippy" experience. thank you, memon & sumo!

- demo Linux Windows MacOSX PPC X-MIX 2004: Ion Traxx by Kewlers [web] & mfx [web]
- this demo is the one that will be remembered from breakpoint 2004 still after years. like with almost all the good stuff out there, on the first watch it feels nice, after a couple more re-watches very good and it still keeps feeling better and better. unlike with lot of original x-mix tapes, the music in this one is really above average - five songs mixed so well together that you can almost smell the scent of vinyl. progression on the visuals is slow, but at the same time synched almost to the perfection - however all that fits so well together in the theme you don't even question the checkerboard, the dolphins and other elements that'd normally be the worst kind of clichés you can include in your demo.
nearly perfectly executed trip back 10 years into mixtapes, with no bigger drawbacks. no doubt the best pc demo released at breakpoint this year. - rulezadded on the 2004-04-24 09:36:33
