• FONT PROBLEMS FIXED! We got reports, that some users (especially Linux users trying to start PAiN with Wine) got an error message telling them to download the PAiN font library. Unfortunately, this didn't help. If you encountered this problem, please download the library again: We had to add one more font to it which accidentally was missing. Sorry for the troubles and thanks for reporting.

• okay, since they used # in the filename (as I said, it sucks) you can't access it with the browser. # doesn't belong in a filename, you ignorants (see the release packaging article in PAiN 10/03). everybody that wants to download the mag has to login to the FTP and download manually.

• ftp://ftp.klosz.art.pl/pub/scene/mags/dior/dior#2(v1.0)_win32.rar. It's mostly polish, uses the Hugi engine. But it looks okay (except for the filename)

• Silent Mode is credited in the celebration part introductional articles, aswell as in the credits-page of PAiN 01/94. It's very probable, that the tune fades out after some time. What makes you think that it's not the full length? You could try to play around with the loop-settings of XM-Play, there are something like 4 modes which all loop/fade the tunes differently.
