• I don't know what to think about this - is this running in software? Quick peek seems to suggest OpenGL, but then why is it so lowres? The still image art looks like it's been scaled down from highes resolution...? (Some weird aliasing.) And like, some of the stuff is dope (the first third or so), but then the rest is a bit of an eyesore...? And then the music is "AI" which suggests it's been generated by one of those generate-your-own-royalty-free-music websites?

• I think my favorite part of this prod is that someone is credited for "jokes" in case you want to know who to blame when you don't find it funny.
  
  The LIDAR scan stuff isn't fully original, but conceptually at least in context it seems to work - the problem is that on this machine at least it fluctuates between silky smooth 60fps and absolute horrendous 1-2fps, and I can't seem to tell WHY, because not a whole lot happens that would warrant the latter.
  
  Other than that it's kinda cute, obviously very dated, but proudly so, so I guess that at least means bonus points for being self-aware?

• Hoo boi, I really wanted this to be good, but... just no :( I mean, brutalism is my jam (even if you got inspired by the Salk campus a bit too obviously), the asset quality is fantastic, the music is great, and I'd even forgive Unity cos at least it runs on my machine, but there's an implied story that's never explained, the main character just feels out of place (the fact that it only has an idle and a walk cycle doesn't help), the camera paths have an obvious smoothstep that should've been changed to constant velocity, the particle burst just comes out of nowhere, and the music ends before the visuals.
  
  I guess the thing I take away from this is that this is a great example why direction matters so much in a demo in 2022.
