- demo JavaScript TOKIDOKI by Gaia Space Agency
- Cute stuff, although compared to what it shows the performance is pretty abysmal.

- demo Windows marraskuu by Vaahtera & Brainstorm [web]
- It's different enough to merit respect, at the same time it weirdly can't let go of some of the demoish things that it doesn't really need. The thing that kept distracting me is that the tune is clearly outside the vocal range and should be transposed up :/ The visuals are this weird inbetween of abstract and representative where it kinda ends up being neither, and the editing is too fast compared to the tune and it feels like it's trying to cram too many scenes in. There's good things in there but it just feels like it could use a stronger cornerstone in terms of visual coherence.

- demo fastdemo JavaScript re.sign
- Starts out on the weak foot with the aliased Impact, but then when it kicks in it does show an ear for the music nuances.

- 4k JavaScript Modules (You Overslept Dumbass!!) by 0b5vr
- Stops exactly the moment it runs out of ideas, but everything about it is spot on, from the Berlin techno mood to the muted dirty color tones.

- demo invitation Linux Windows Finding Zen by UC Gewerkschaft
- Cute, nothing to phone home about, does what it's supposed to do.

probably the 3rd best demo ever using neuropol font!!
It's not Neuropol, it's Induction (a.k.a. the Variform font) - isokadded on the 2022-11-01 16:54:53
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS rage OS by AttentionWhore
- Pretty good; has the common parody problem of having stellar ideas at certain places that kinda make the other lesser jokes feel a bit token, but it does tighten the direction up a bit.

framing of the effects make very good use of the shape of the display. Even the memes part was actually funny; had it been only that, it would have been super lame.
For some reason I feel the exact opposite - the only thing that utilized the shape was the boingball, and the "meme part" was completely unnecessary and screams viralbait (is that a term? if not, it should be)
It's a shame cos the idea is there (and can be done much MUCH better) and the music is great (when it's allowed to be), but there's always a moment in such demos where I get this distinct vision of the authors going "I KNOW THIS IS AWFUL BUT I CAN'T HELP MYSELF", and that's where subtlety goes out the window and you get Nyan cat. Not a parody of Nyan cat, not an allusion to Nyan cat, not a sly underhanded reference to Nyan cat that implies that you believe that the audience is just as smart as you are - just Nyan cat, unaltered, going "STATISTICALLY THIS IS WHAT YOU LIKE PEOPLE, DONT FORGET TO LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE".
It just makes me sad. - isokadded on the 2022-10-27 12:06:43
- demotool Commodore 64 Funky Drummer by The Bitstoppers
- I def' played around with this at the time, but i'd also hesitate to call it a demotool...

- demo fastdemo JavaScript Out of The Box Solution by Biertankerfloat
- The 3D works pretty well, but then again it's a single object over a background so there's not a lot of complexity to solve; in a way it's very 90s "stencil-2D-effects-over-vector" retro, which has it's charm :)
