- p01: I've not checked the code, so I may be wrong, but the way I would have done it is to draw variable thickness patterns using the 16 colors repetitively over a multiple-screen tall area, then use sync-scrolling to smooth scroll over the picture.
Then use one palette change every scan-line (or every time a new picture "pixel" row starts) to draw the little character.
Same thing as the moving backgrounds/patterns in the mega-scrollers screens. - isokadded on the 2014-07-01 13:16:58
