  somehow my dosbox on Mac can't run anything anymore even though I ran several pc demos earlier. Sometimes with swapped color components. Not sure what is going on.
  
  Anyone got a dosbox starter pack with the basic config files and binaries needed to "run all demos"?

• Perfect execution of this laser style! That horizontal distortion looks like someone put a magnet near a CRT. Much better than the usual random horizontal shifts in use in most demos (which usually just make the effect underneath look ugly)

• I still feel that Terminal 7 is the ultimate Cocoon drum and bass demo. Terminal 7 is heavy and moves like an angry t-rex. This one jumps around more like an angry chihuahua or a wasp or something.
  
  Aurora05 is also awesome of course and got a really nicely twisted track. I especially love the scenes which mix some abstract shapes with realistic shapes. Like the forest scene.
  
  I for one welcome another 20 or so drum and bass demos from Cocoon.

• Watching it again I get this feeling I'm watching a video done by someone emulating old computer style (snes/amiga) using a modern machine and compositing software without having to actually deal with the old limits (like some pixel-art inspired video or synthwave flick... or PICO-8!?!). Except it is actually running on the real thing with all the pain that involves.
