• As if keops had invented fake coppersplits bars and rotating chessboards...
  I don't deny that his intro influenced me a little bit (in a general way) but i still think i did a much more varied one and i went further in the (s)exploitation of chessboards and bending scrolltexts (which were invented by mr mega mind/dexion in a cracktro he did for paradox anyway).

• It's just a matter of reading pixels datas from jpg/gif/3ds files, filling a backbuffer and outputting them as randomized ascii chars (strangely using "fixedsys" instead of the "terminal" font for whatever reason) on the screen (via directdraw) using the original pixels colors to render the chars (there's no colors cycling or such tricks here, it's just 16/24 or 32 bits standard resolution), the whole done in blitzbasic (maybe that's one of the reason why it's a little bit slow). It's not ibm pc ascii gfxmode (2 bytes/char) that's for sure, now you can call it fake or not, the technical side doesn't really matter, the idea is still amusing after all. No reason to get excited, tho.
