- demo JavaScript I Want To Revolve by Primitive [web]
- Before you hate: Graffathon is for beginners, and they decided to split the compos for newcomers and oldskool people. This is why our newschool demo is actually oldskool

- demo JavaScript I Want To See Small Worlds by Primitive [web]
- Thanks for all the positive feedback and comments!
Three demos on 2 months, beat that! (jml excluded)
Big, big hand to my right hand, my engineguy, my saviour, Stoneman. Without him there would be no demos. Apparently the offspring of DDT can produce given the right circumstances! (primitive included)
Since I started coding demos 2 months ago, last five weeks I've done nothing but sit here at skeneklubi and code content, first for Solskogen, then for Assembly. Stoneman has been here with me every step of the way, giving me the functions and tools, so I can make some crappy spheres rotate. (cubes included)
It's been a ride, and eventhough now I am spent, this does not mean the end of the voyage. We are just getting started. (failures excluded)

- Navis: noby is right that Finland doesn't recognize Fair Use, but I am not debating on the legal side of the issue here. I was just pointing out that legal or not, using a sample from a copyrighted source violates Assembly competition rules. Rules which apply to all entries, especially this year when all demos were broadcast live on national tv.

- Quote:
The sound heard on that scene is a monologue in French, from the movie Jeux d'enfants.
Which would make it a violation of Assembly rules.

Quote:You must own or have permission to use all the material present in your production. In case of a potential copyright infringement problem it is your duty to prove this.

- I did like the demo very much, but I just cannot bring myself to upvote because UE. Downvoting would also seem a bit harsh, so piggy it is.
One way to handle entries like this would be to limit the compressed filesizes for engines such as this. But would that introduce tools like "UE4 minifier".
For a beginner coder such as myself, it kinda feels rotten to see entries with such high visual quality, that took next to nothing to actually code. But such is the case with any engine. Maybe one day I will have one. - isokadded on the 2015-08-03 23:58:59

- A worthy sequel :) Next time, dont be afraid to ask for help on the audio postprocessing. Back of the hall missed pretty much all of the dialogue.
