- @Jin_X: oldschool because the original also only used 4 of the first 16 colors, which is doable with EGA instead of VGA. Then, the algorithm needs suprisingly little hardware power, like, REALLY little. And then, besides a few instructions, everything ran also on the old 8086 so i figured, why not convert this into a real oldschool version while chipping all those bytes away ;) And yes, i could cram in some "sounds" as well with those free three bytes, but that wouldn't add much to the effect ;)
