- 64k invitation Windows fr-013: flybye by Farbrausch [web]
- I think the music is great; Not the usual generic techno stuff. Scenes looked very nice, and the creature with hair and blobby nose was very cool. But wow, does this thing ever need memory. I shut down all my apps and still had tonnes of disk-swapping and stuttering. (192 megs) Guess I'll hafta thing about upgrading, besides, memory's pretty cheap these days.
Heh, a 64 K program that needs more than 192 megs of RAM. Who'd ever thunk it? - rulezadded on the 2001-12-01 20:22:26
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Fuck USA demo by Complex [web] & Scoopex [web]
- Kind of a serious question regarding the term "anti-Americanism". Is this just a propaghanda phrase? I mean, is there such thing as "anti-Canadianism" or "anti-Norweiganism"???
Oh, wait. This is a demoscene BB. I guess I'll piss off now...

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS The drunk desert demo by Paradox
- Hah! One of the first few demos I ever experienced. This had some interactive bits. You could shoot a rat with the right mouse button, and wiggle the joystick to make the guy drink. If he drank too much, he became hammered... Literally!!!
The MOD is still on my HD, mainly because of this sample: "Is this how you normally behave...? Or did you leave your brain at home!?"
Demos have come a long way since then, but I do miss the occasional interactive bits. - rulezadded on the 2001-11-30 10:04:26
- demo Windows Odyssey by Stravaganza [web]
- Okay stuff. The scenes with the spiders seemed awfully dark. I had to turn my monitor up to 100% brightness, but then the light scenes looked burnt out. Hmph...
A couple of months ago I spent a decent amount time getting my monitor/graphics levels set up properly. This leads me to wonder how well the coder's display is adjusted. - isokadded on the 2001-11-26 06:39:22

- demo MS-Dos Nothing New by Popsy Team [web]
- Like the title says, nothing new. All the same, this is a colourful demo that never stays on any one effect for too long.
My favourite bit is the metaballs creating water ripples on the cube surface. An original arrangement of old ideas. - isokadded on the 2001-11-26 06:19:47
- demo Windows Nightfall by Orion [web]
- This is a very well put together demo. I'm not sure if there's supposed to be some sort of hidden narrative, but it's somehow implied. And hey, they made their own vocal music without having to rip.

- demo Windows nature still suxx by Federation Against Nature [web]
- My comments for the first "Nature Suxx" still ring true. Nice engine, but dull and dark scenes.

- demo Windows Nature suxx by Federation Against Nature [web]
- Very nice realtime raytracer, and being able to control the movement is a bonus. But the scenes are not very interesting and too dark.

- demo MS-Dos Windows moaï by Nomad [web]
- Yes, this is an amusing demo, but only the first half. It starts of with a good atmosphere, then turns nice 'n' silly.
But after the main bit there is a long and somewhat dull second half with greets and credits and stuff. This part did have some good ideas, but for me the 'meat' of the production was in the first section. I personally would have cut the ending in half... - rulezadded on the 2001-11-26 06:01:23
