• Simply awesome to see this prod finished. Though it's a little obvious that it's not done by MT and the original crew (lacks in design a little), it just kicks ass to have it now in 2004 as a true C64 game :) . Ok, Turrican might walk like he pissed his (iron) pants, but anyways, I let him have his way :)
  
  And since I'm at it: It's great what SDS does on the C64. But the premiere presentation at EVOKE just sucked as much as T3 rules, sorry. This cheap looking 3D animated junk they wanted to promote T3 with was the worst piece of presentational ambition (and BTW the most unappropriated for a retro game like T3) I have seen in a looong time. Uh, seems like SDS desperately needs backup on the design side of things ... :/

• wild Animation/Video OSS Kinki - Tauchfahrt des Grauens by Novel [web]
• It's weird, it's rugged, it's trash. And I have to thumb it up :) . Not just for the excellent hidden gag that OSS Kinki (mind the german OE in the title sequence) is the first austrian submarine ever ("you heard it here first, folks ;) !"), but also for that silly toy torpedo flyby, wicked water movement, underwater reflection action and dramatic lighting fx :) . Did I mention that I'd buy the soundtrack, too ;) ?
  
  And yes, this a not completely unbiased vote ;) !
  
  P.S. I recommend watching it right after the winner wild. It helps with the appreciation process ... ;)
