- Hey, wake up !
As Dahan stated, it is NOT a textmode demo ! It's just an invitro with a rendering style that looks like textmode.
Please stop arguing about that particular point, there are some more interesting things in this prod.
BTW, I unfortunately can't view this demo as I'm under GNU/Linux :(
(personal)
Dahan : the executable is a .bat file which starts with a 'expand' command ... So I expect it to self-extract the executable ... If I'm right, and if it's possible, would you mind sending me this executable so that I can run it in Wine (or put it online)?
Here's my e-mail : flure (at) free (dot) fr
Thanks :)

- demo Linux Windows replicate by Vantage [web]
- Unfortunately, both GNU/Linux and MS Windows (through wine) version crashed on my system, fucking up my screen.

- Simply rulez !
Without any technical glitch, and with a perfect oldskool feeling.
Overwhelming scrollers ! :) - rulezadded on the 2004-02-06 13:41:30
- demo Windows 85 dollars by Mandarine [web]
- Now i watched it and yeah i can confirm my thumb down; everything is put together trying to achieve some style with overused techniques : slow flat shaded objects, south park like stupid characters, repetitive and uninteresting music, vintage graphics and more. All that put together without an ounce of organisation, just pretending it's design...
Sorry i can't stand such prods. - isokadded on the 2003-09-01 19:21:25
- demo Windows 85 dollars by Mandarine [web]
- There is no coder in the nfo's credits.
A pure demopaja script is not a demo.
This one should fail to the rule "no pure animation allowed" - sucksadded on the 2003-09-01 18:27:11
- demo Windows ninja in a box by The Planet Of Leather Moomins [web]
- Something quite bizarre is that usually i really LIKE tpolm prods, but this one is perhaps a bit too much for me ...

- demo Windows raw confessions by Cocoon [web]
- technically perfect, it competes honorably with the latest video games, but lacks some originality ...
i always have the impression that the cocoon guys try to continue the Shad series, but it lacks the particular mood that brought us Shad 1 & 2, although it is replaced by blood, gore, manga-like bomb-babies ; not the best idea for this prod imho
however, a technically perfect production, which should reside on all dark and noisy demo lovers' hard disks - isokadded on the 2003-04-18 09:43:10

- now that i understand a little that it's hard to do a 256b effect on a C64, i can give it a thumb up :)
by the way, DBug, are there any Linux Oric emulators out there ? - rulezadded on the 2002-07-17 17:32:27
