  I started on a small OCS shmup last year and this one really made me want to pick it up again. :)

• Not really a fan of "borrowed" content (at least when used as-is), but here the author does a nice & honest job of crediting it.
  
  And most importantly: the resulting production is nice and made me happy. :)

• While this one is obviously well-made (no pun intended) it doesn't engage me and I was actually quite surprised that it won. (Probably goes to show how out of touch I am :D)
  
  It's kind of like an old ASD demo, without the massive overload of content, sprinkled with a tiny bit of Synesthetics without their playfulness & attention to detail. To me it's a bit too oldschool and the scenes feel somewhat empty.
  
  That said, it contains a bunch of nice stuff and I really like the soundtrack, so I can't give it anything else than a thumb up. :)

• It's quite ugly most of the time and there's very little "new" or creative stuff going on here. However, the tech seems good (I really want to know how it runs on 030) and the same goes for the chip and drawn pixels.
