- The whole thing could have used more content and some color choices were questionable but otherwise it was a really nice show with good effects. One of those demos I will enjoy watching again :)

- Clever recycling of your BP08 demo. The soundtrack is excellent and you managed to make the whole thing look fresh again, even after the BP demo and even after Casino Royal's opening sequence ;)
Really nice work. - rulezadded on the 2008-09-02 15:58:01

- tesla : yes it is and the zipfile could easily be less than half that size but we used the compo's sizelimit rules largely to have a much shorter loading / depacking time.
Generating things like our 3D noise texture (2 MB in that case) would have made the loading time longer so we prefered to spare the audience and include them in the datafile.
We *hate* long loading times ;) - isokadded on the 2008-09-02 15:48:57
- demo Windows Stargazer by Orb [web] & Andromeda [web]
- AstronautStebo : the effects following Archmage's pictures are not properly connected. We did not have the time to make proper transitions for them and their design was quite rushed because we seriously ran out of time.
So yeah, there will be "slight" changes in the final version, the work is already in progress ;) - isokadded on the 2008-09-01 22:37:47

waterworm stolen from zoom3
To be honest none of us remembed that there was a waterworm in Zoom3.
It's just that at some point we had those relief water and ocean tunnel effects planned for the design of the demo and we wanted to add a kind of Abyss water blob to introduce them, nothing else :)
Zoom3's author probably grew watching the same movies we did :) - isokadded on the 2008-08-31 17:13:14

- I have wanted to make a demo with that kind of rendering and style for years and you did it really nicely so I should hate you for that ;)
Really nice work there. - rulezadded on the 2008-08-31 13:35:59
- demo C64 DTV Uncharted Territory by Noice [web]
- Good work Shadow, once again. You make me think of a certain Ultra, capable of producing cool stuff on a number of platforms that goes beyond me :D

- LSnK : if you're are refering to the cubewall scene, it requires a 8800 to have a good framerate because :
- we wanted it to run smooth in 1920x1080
- the scene features soft shadows
- the cubes have recursive reflections (not easy to spot the first time but they are there)
- there is a fancy ambient occlusion lighting on the whole scene to give it a realistic touch.
If it's not smooth on your 8800, you could try to update your drivers (it ran smooth on all 8800 cards we tested it on, in high res). - isokadded on the 2008-08-28 18:29:09

- Excellent, as usual.
