- demo ZX Spectrum Excess by Zero
- Excess is made by Zer0, the only succesful group from Lithuania so it is perhaps worth to check! it was their first demo and also the last one (i dont remember if there were some smaller stuff released).
as their musician Zhenya was really talented, music is quite nice there, but the code and concept of demo isn't anything of interest. what i remember being really cool is some cube made of dots with shading effect over it, i think it is one of greatest speccy effects i ever seen, just looked so damn good. on the other hand towards the end of the demo you could easy get really bored... as some "nothing out of ordinary" vector-figures just kept on rotating around the screen for 5 minutes or so... demo is very long if you watch it from the beginning to the end. - isokadded on the 2001-05-12 01:16:26
- demo ZX Spectrum dies irae by Exodus
- incredible stuff. for an oldskool lover this is the demo to go for. Exodus is famous for their concept megademos, where the scrollers and parts goes on, in harmony and each demo is a trip full of experience. not for anyone perhaps, but if you are into this... music is done by Kriss/Illusion and Agent-X, the last one is absolutely best musician on speccy ever, with some others close, and in this demo there are his last released musics as far as i know. graphics are okay, nothing special maybe, but code is also really good, no lame 4x4 effects everything is hires and smooth and optimized to the bone. go for it!

- demo ZX Spectrum Action
- i am fed up with this lamer Canonball finally who dont know a shit or dont remember and basically just mess things up.
this demo was made before Extreme Entertainment was formed, it was a Megacode production and Exploder's handle back then was Vav to put things more correct. so this is NOT Extreme release at all.
the demo itself, is a great piece of code which i enjoy till today. it is better than Exploder's stuff he coded later when joined Extreme, as it contains more diverse effects and in general is fast and furious! very well timed to music also, this is a short one but still masterpiece. music by Ksa fits very well too. - isokadded on the 2001-05-12 00:56:08
- demo ZX Spectrum Blame by Extreme Entertainment
- well, its nice to also write some short review for a demo you think is lame! otherwise you just praise and praise and praise... so, basically this demo suck. it's all based on some story how lame is wellknown bill gates. and it sucks. there is absolutely nothing good to say of this demo. the main "fx" is an animation where billy gets cake in his face... wow! thats really what i wanted to see on speccy!

- demo ZX Spectrum 5th Element by Eternity Industry
- the first demo from Eternity Industry in "4x4 black and white low framerate 3d shit series". well, for some strange reason i like it best of all, even though 3D engine isn't as super-duper as in their later demos Napalm and Dogma - maybe because some of fx are quite fast still (animations?). and the music in epilogue is quite nice, it's perhaps cover of the song in movie or something. Sairoos, the coder of this demo also did the music. cool!

- demo Commodore 64 Illmatic by Elysium [web]
- the scrolling rolling picture this long one at the very beginning blew my socks off... and the demo kept this feeling. nice graphics, nice music and nice bits'n'bytes holding the stuff together!

- demo MS-Dos Verses by Electromotive Force [web]
- yea rite yea sorry for being short but what i remember is only this rotating head of billgates well what can i say 2048 sinedots on the middle of the screen no no no i mean it was so round this head a perfect circle - aaahh perfect circle, i will better go and review this new TBL's masterpiece... so see ya there!

- demo Commodore 64 Nothing But Code by Beyond Force [web]
- really, nothing but code! and it goes well like this. i have been always fan of well designed demos but this one doesnt need to. and it HAS some design btw. what i miss here is good music. at the very beginning of the demo it is cool but later melodies isnt really my taste. anyway, this demo is to be never scratched from my diskcollection :)
