really, nothing but code! and it goes well like this. i have been always fan of well designed demos but this one doesnt need to. and it HAS some design btw. what i miss here is good music. at the very beginning of the demo it is cool but later melodies isnt really my taste. anyway, this demo is to be never scratched from my diskcollection :)

yeah the first tune was taken from oxyron's "dawnfall", and the annoying 2nd tune is some old tune bf kept using. too bad gremlin/bf didn't seem to have connections in the c64-scene. he would've easily gotten exclusive graphics and music.

This one is VERY nice, and yes, this demo IS older than dawnfall... And these two demos aren't the only ones which have used that tune..(can't remember who made it though...)
No it's not, Dawnfall is from The Party 1995, N.B.C. is from Assembly 1996.

i checked today, it was Jeff who did the tune. also talked with him today and in his humble manner he told me that tune wasnt as great as it was supposed to be :)

I liked the Texture parts...sadly they dont do those effects anymore...
Nothing but code indeed. It gets boring pretty fast because the effects are shown too long. And there's almost no design. Still, it's cool to see those routines. I especially like the line zoom.

Pretty entertaining no-frills effects slideshow (complete with empty backgrounds and "creative" effect descriptions); Love the droning soundtrack, even if the tune was used in another demo before.
Slow lowres LUT effects? Not even for the time interesting imo.
