• hm now that i rewatch it, i think it could be more polished or rather de-polished - more synch-action, more randomization of the visual noise pattern, more variation in the soundtrack. but the scene in the screenshot is priceless already.

  the whole thing is perfect. probably my favorite 8bit demo now, leaving even the "concept" demos by flt c64 .se behind.

• hm, kinda disappointing, sorry. the girl picture is recycled from "mother", the colors are too random, the text is too random, the message is not convincing. i miss the strong concepts here, like they were done in "ussr" and "father".

• just rewatched it, and i must say that this is the strongest and scaries demo i've ever seen. everything is absolutely perfect - the goal is to create a mood, and it gets created no matter what. the picture with the girl with white eyes and open mouth, when the music suddenly stops at the same time - BRILLIANT! seriously one of the best scene products when it comes to overall composition. one has the feeling that there is a story line which is strong and subtle at the same time, and yet told in some foreign language, where only the emotions reach the recipient - the viewer goes through the whole scale of emotions, yet only guessing what is causing these emotions on the factual side.
