Using pictures from the intarweb and Reed Richard's Cyberdragon is pretty cheap (no work, good results). Since there were some quite good effects and even some world's first OHP effects, the vote is quite clear.

were there really some premieres? I wasn't aware of that, or probably no one of us was. :) but why is it cheap to use Cyberdragon? Robocop was used 2 years ago and no one complained, plus Reed is a good buddy of mine so I don't really see the problem. I think using copyrighted//commercial/royalty-material is much more troublesome. Btw, thanks for going through the effort of making those screenshots, mate.

All the gathered stuff has been core linked in about 20 minuts and finished the minut before the show... This may explain the timeline misrespect... Precalculation sucks anyway! ;)

Has some weak parts which do not harm the whole presentation due to the amount of nice ideas.
Interestingly, I had the same idea with the mandala thingy or the moire FX, but couldn´t find the stuff needed for it again at home...
Btw, the plasma-thingy is coffee with plenty of sugar, which started the sticky-fluid mess in the OHP competition ;)

yeah the coffee-scene did in fact not work at ALL... but I think we won't tell what we wanted to do originally so we can still do it next year. Heh heh. And nula: I agree, the optical illusions didn't work on the video at all either. I don't know if they worked for the audience in the hall though, because we only stared at the damn OHP all the time. ;)

When you poured liquid on the OHP and later tried to wipe it off I got the impression that _that_ part wasn't completely thought through ;D. When other effects got stuck on the OHP and stuff... Really hilarious ;D.
