- What cce said. Utterly boring and inane, with a couple enjoyable parts in the soundtrack.

- This was excellent! The typography is maybe the only thing feel like I'd at least try to adjust, but then again this cheap "ugly white font with a lame dropshadow" is kinda appropriate as it's close to what often appears on the side of food cartons anyway.. :)

- demo Windows Geometry Gods by JUGZ [web]
- I wrote a longish comment on this but noticed I had already thumbed... damn :). Anyway, some thoughts about the final version.
The final version is a bit disappointing though. While it fixes some crucial annoyances like the the camera constantly flying right through the geometry on Level 03, there are several other stylistic choices made that are just flat out worse. This includes in my opinion everything after the aforementioned Level 03, i.e. the noodly ribbon appendaged, the second gorilla scene, Level 04 and I'd maybe even argue the last gorilla shot which I thought was much better framed originally. Doesn't make it bad in any sense, but just makes it feel a bit more conventionally demoish.
Still, this is the JUGZ magnum opus, so far. The music is just stellar and the visuals finally look like they weren't cobbled together the night before the party :D. The top-3 of the compo was essentially a three-way tie to me. The most important feat though I think is that this actually looks good at 60fps while being fast paced, which is something very few demos actually achieve!
Does this utilize some Unity plugins or whatever by Keijiro Takahashi by the way? I thought I saw something similar :) - isokadded on the 2017-08-25 21:00:26
- demo Windows Java Love Story by Monoceros
- "If you're going to make a first demo please make it something like this instead of trying to poorly imitate conventions set by quarter century old amiga demos", to paraphrase what I said during the compo.
With that said, this is still not my thing at all really and there's lot to work on, but thumbs up for making people mad with cute stuff and trying to compose actual scenes with very primitive methods.
In a way it's already solid stylistically, but in the future try to think of the editing, cutting and framing/composition more, instead of just holding a single shot for a minute for an example :) - rulezadded on the 2017-08-25 20:02:42

- Never watched this for some reason. Pretty forgettable visually, but there's some really lovely bits in the audio, namely the excellent percussions and the lower end of the mix overall. Detuned trance-like leads are not my thing though :)

This was made in one evening a couple nights before the party. A lot more could've been done with it I guess but I played pretty conservative with the bytes since there wouldn't have been too much time for size optimization. Inspired by mainly by Bola of course, primarily an exploration of instruments possibilities in Oidos. - isokadded on the 2017-08-23 17:56:04
- 4k Windows Dropletia by Eos & Prismbeings
- That's good to hear because I originally composed it early this year as a sketch for a jrpg-like game I've been thinking of making, but that project is not about to become reality any time soon. Fizzer I suppose kinda fell in love with it and I made an interpretation of it in Oidos for him :)
