The title scene looks amazing! And boy does the gorilla have skin problems on his back - finger-licking creepy. Didn't fancy the green/red worms, but all other scenes were slick.

Good stuff, good stuff. This time visuals went far above audio though, not that it was bad at all.
A lot of good stuff in there, marred by the fact that the direction is a mess.
not sure if boring or not my cup of tea.
I liked Lazer teazer video way more than the demo itself! still,
This one has a lot to recommend it!
Jugi knows his Unity. Some VERY cool scenes, along with some unfinished looking ones. Fun tune. Didn't enjoy the clipping in the city part.
Facet enjoyed your demo Jugi (and me to) ;)
what gargaj said. i look forward to seeing the fished version later, a salmon final boss?
It could have been so much more but man, it's nice! :)
enjoyable demo, liked the music.
Awesome stuff. Btw ... why does level 1 has no name?
Someone has seen Skull Island and made (half) a demo about it. :)
i like level 3 =) make this a game and i'll play it ^^
Cool but unfinished. I like how the recycled elements make it seem to connect the design to your older demos :)
Nice demo. Liked the vocal-sample a lot!
Bit odd that some levers didn't had a name. Couldn't recall the scene with the girl having a levelnumber either.

So, I guess we can finally agree to never complain about Unity again?
The human figure with the weird (thread?) things dangling from it was a phenomenal effect.

cool stuff but a bit of a mess
Thumb! Nice modelling and effects
Ok, so this is what those bits seen on Facebook throughout the year were leading to :) Even if it is a collection of this and that, there's a mature professional touch in all of it, and the visuals go great with the track. Looked good on the bigscreen, too.
The ground scattering tetrahedron lazers scene is extremely cool!
Impressive one-man show, you built some really interesting scenes :)
Thanks for the seminar/workshop, if you're still taking questions here is one: how is the tetrahedron scene from the demo's Teazer implemented? Sub-emitters?

clean, great track!
Love the lazers! Music is cool too.
don't like: messy cuts
like: you are apparently trying to sell some story/concept, it's always welcomed
At the end, unity or not, comparing to other demos this year, this one stands out visually.

Very stylish
extra neat gorilla
Lovely, needs better cameras though. Some very nice effects going on though!
Really liked level 3 :)

Lots of awesome looking visuals. Funky music too! :)
what's with this "greyscale slow motion video with upbeat music" trend in demos lately? good design tho
Tones are more important than color. Unless you specifically want to communicate with those I don't see a point of including them. It's only additional hassle with not too much concrete benefit.
Very sophisticated stuff here. Good (albeit very jugi style) cameras and direction and an excellent track.

Nice
Sweet modeling and the intro scene (screenshot) looked really cool! I like your idea of perhaps trying to please the audience you knew this prod would have, by adding the different "levels". Only, I kinda feel the concept got somewhat forced. It meant you had to "invent" scenes for each of the levels, and the overall story perhaps got a bit weird because of that.
The music for this was really cool, though i was a bit baffled by what happened at 2.40. The break from part A to intermission seems completely off. Yet, the buildup from intermission to part B worked quite nice. I do sense a slight lack of higher frequencies and particularly the snare suffers. I think the entire soundtrack could have really benefitted from a bit of extra care to the mastering, to have it spread out more. More high freq, please :)
But overall, this was really a pleasure to watch, and even though I didn't quite catch the story about the monkey, rolling pyramids and stuff, it's definitely thumbworthy :)

nice
Very nice
Nice
great job.. and lol to limits.
content-wise a bit of a mish-mash, but it looks great and the soundtrack is excellent
Great stuff, could've benefited from a stronger connection between visuals and music.
Okay, this is just great!
Yep. Looked nice on the bigscreen.
I love that lazer thing, sooo intense <3
What Alpha C said :P audio track has been stuck in my head...great stuff!
Tetrahedra are the new black
Jugi knows his Unity indeed.
Well... hmm... thumb up
i've seen a good part of this stuff via instagram over the past months and all i can say is: more color please.
great demo, but i think given the material to work with it could've been much nicer.

level fantastic!
Liked this quite a bit, especially the opening scene and the tendril scene, which were simply amazing.

This demo actually ran OK on my anicent 64-bit W7 HPE SP1 box with its ATI Radeon 4870 video card (512 MB of VRAM) & 6 GB of RAM. A few parts were choppy like the beginning of new scenes. Overall, it worked OK. :)
I wrote a longish comment on this but noticed I had already thumbed... damn :). Anyway, some thoughts about the final version.
The final version is a bit disappointing though. While it fixes some crucial annoyances like the the camera constantly flying right through the geometry on Level 03, there are several other stylistic choices made that are just flat out worse. This includes in my opinion everything after the aforementioned Level 03, i.e. the noodly ribbon appendaged, the second gorilla scene, Level 04 and I'd maybe even argue the last gorilla shot which I thought was much better framed originally. Doesn't make it bad in any sense, but just makes it feel a bit more conventionally demoish.
Still, this is the JUGZ magnum opus, so far. The music is just stellar and the visuals finally look like they weren't cobbled together the night before the party :D. The top-3 of the compo was essentially a three-way tie to me. The most important feat though I think is that this actually looks good at 60fps while being fast paced, which is something very few demos actually achieve!
Does this utilize some Unity plugins or whatever by Keijiro Takahashi by the way? I thought I saw something similar :)

Jugi's seek for a perfect "pop demo" formula continues..
Good shit. Rank 2 Ez.
Also a very good production (far better put together than winner), even if unity is my pet hate.

Awesome! Just awesome in every aspect!

Damn son! I like the coherent theme and the juxtaposition of slow and fast scenes, perfectly matched by the music's mood. Some of the effects were especially amazing, e.g. the one when the ape emits ribbons. Awesome one-man show!
Also, just when I thought "this would be a good time to end the demo, I am almost starting to get bored" it was over, so good timing there :)
Very enjoyable!

Damn good, especially love the first scene - and the music
Unity = not a demo. Put it in the wild category next time.
a bit of a mess
but still good
but still good
very nice, but I have the feeling that it would've been even nicer with colours
^_^
A pleasure to watch indeed, but where'd the colors go?
I love the soundtrack and funky style!
Incredible soundtrack, visuals and concept. Jugz rule ! :D
