• okay guys, for troubles with the engine, just send us an email with a detailed error report and we'll hand it over to the coder. maybe it will get fixed ;-) then again, it's the same engine since years, and it worked okay, so it's probably your windows that has changed. as i said, vista is not tested...:-)

• rudictive: yeah, it's somehow related to bass.dll. just turn off the sound fx in the config menu you get when starting pain then.

• rudictive: a bit more details please.... for example, pain is not tested on vista. also, if you switch of the sound effects (which you should probably do anyway ;-)) you might have less troubles on some systems..
