• In many ways, a standard blob-tro with the usual 90s EBM/IDM boomshakala. The optional parameters make things interesting though. F.e. it's sometimes almost impossible to see the logos (first and final ~20 seconds) on the black background in hi-color mode, but they show nicely in the 8bit gray-scale version. I wonder if that was the reason it wasn't shown, as it looks like the intro crashed/won't render anything. Small thumb up.

• I'd love to know how those illumination scenes work. I like to believe they are not just orchestrated lightmap-ensembles or a delta-packed "global" lightmap animation (although that would be cool too). It's definitely not raytracing either, but surely fed into the texture mapping process? Looks quite nifty and fast for such an old demo. And as far as "addicted to the multimedia" goes: Yep. Totally. ;)

• A likeable debut, still free of their gory and gloomy trademarks. Maf's soundtrack is available in 3 versions btw, v2.3 being the most refined.

• A solid runner-up in the car-driving-by-itself-through-a-city category, behind passing only (which covered the autobahn / concrete jungle angle of this trope); that this is yet another de-facto remake of a vimeo video is a bit disheartening, but then again, there's no ounce of originality in this concept anyway. A final with more content and a cheesy sax solo (and/or arpeggio riffing) would be neat. :)
