• demo Windows No ambition by Quite & T-Rex [web]
• This was ace on the bigscreen and the music also fits very well. For me the best entry in the top three by a long shot. Great stuff! :)

• demo Windows sp04 - Hello, Kevin - A Dental Journey by Spacepigs [web]
• How this nonsense can be voted 2nd place in the PC DEMO COMPO just blows my mind. Who cares if this was realtime or not?

And I died laughing watching other 'silly' JCO prods in the past, this one just was not funny at all except for the violin gabber scene which was indeed the only time I laughed.

• demo Windows Soul Splitter by Cocoon [web]
• I'm somewhat neutral about this installment by Cocoon because I enjoyed the visual look of the city scenes and the effects that followed are indeed very demoscene-ish, which is of course very cool, however the music got annyoing really fast.

I also feel like Farbrausch has told a far more compelling story within a cityscape with 'Debris' years ago - and that demo was only 117kb in size ;)

Still a nice prod to showcase to new people curious about the demoscene. It certainly does not have to hide and I'm glad this won over the ridiculously awful 2nd place production in the compo.

• 64k Windows Eidolon by Poo-Brain [web]
• One of the finest poo-brain releases to date! No cheap artifacts, no sight of overused beat-synching like in so many other demos and no glitches or overblurred images, just crystal clear visuals with beautiful lighting and reflections. Wow!

The slower pacing also works really well, it makes the scenes a lot more threatening. Although I kept hoping for the chasing wheel-both thingie to fire some lasers, sadly it didn't ;)

  Keep demo-ing, poo-brain!

• Seriously some quality stuff right there. And also a very thorough historic reference of the group itself!

• A welcome contrast to your fast-paced demos, BeRo. Liked it very much, especially the music!
