- Hum, perhaps some more informations could be interesting. The nfo say nothing for instance about how to execute a "prg" file. Since I never use a C64 in my whole life (well, play some game on it, but it's never me that have to type the run/list/whatever/*""*" commands), so by indicating nothing about running that demo you seriously reduce the possible audience.
Also note that in the 256b pc demo scene there is a tradition => source code is often included with the executable to show to the world wide how you code is tiny, smart and marvelous :)

- demo Oric Quintessential by Defence Force [web]
- flure: good idea. I think I will add a text file explaining the capabilities of the hardware (eventually comparing to other well known machines as C64/Atari800/Amstrad CPC/Spectrum...), and also describing the worse thing of all: the limitations imposed by the graphical mode.
Euphoric: We devised a method to create oric compliant graphices using layers under photoshop/paintshoppro. We are drawing with the oric colors on the background layer, and on top of that we have a translucent layer that contains 6 pixels wide:
On this version of the picture, you can notice there is a problem, the yellow gradient on the left cannot be done, and thus was removed in the final version.

- demo Gameboy Advance lollipoop by The Slaphappy Ninja Robots
- Quite nice, shame that I need to try 4 emulators before I manage to get the full demo working...

- demo Oric Quintessential by Defence Force [web]
- macaw: we are wprking on this.
If anyone has trouble with the emulator, please contact me and give me the following information:
- Which operating system are you using ?
- Processor/video/sound hardware.
- Does it work in "no sound" mode ?
- Is the crash/freeze systematic, or it only appears randomly ?
Send this to: dbug@defence-force.org
Thanks in advance.

- demo Oric Quintessential by Defence Force [web]
- The machine can display 8 colors whatever the video mode you choose, but with weird positioning contraints (like no more than 2 colors on 6 consecutive pixels, ...) . Colors are pure RGB values: BLACK, RED, GREEN, BLUE, YELLOW, CYAN, MAGENTA, and WHITE.

- demo Oric Quintessential by Defence Force [web]
- Hi, finaly the final version (supposed to be bug-free) of the Oric OldSkool compo presented at the VIP4. Enjoy it, it's the very first demo made on the oric with music and samples. The emulator is into the archive, and so everybody using windows should be able to watch the demo comfortably without trouble :)
