• A big amount of work and effects. Nothing to say more about the technical level, it was what I excepted from No Recess! Huge progress in CRTC's technics!
  
  Imho rasters are sometimes too much and the Face Hugger's balls effect is not so interesting (or at least too long). But phX is a master-piece! Well done, guys!

• Just tested the tool on a real CPC... I'm not graphist, but this is probably the beginning of what a lot of graphists were expecting for years. Wait and see what the pixel-experts will produce with Perfect Pix... Great release!

  About the technical side:
  1. Rubber-bars are made by changing 15 inks. Only the Red and Blue components are changed (1 byte). The Green component is the same for all the colors. So there are potentially 256 colors in these rubbers.
  2. The foreground bars are made with the same technic but with 10 colors changed in the hard-sprites (2 sprites for a bar). The first line of the 6 hard-sprites is automatically repeated thanks to the 1-line rupture (R4=0 and R9=0) There are potentially 256 other colors in these vertical bars!
  3. Changing all the 15 + 10 colors and the offset is done every 3 lines.
  4. 64 steps of rotation for rubber-bars and 64 steps for the vertical bars.
  5. The whole is moving with a MODE 0 pixel-precision thanks to the smooth scroll ASIC abality.
  6. The balls are made with hard-sprites. Nothing special. (Lesson 1: "Sprites for Dummies")
  
  This intro is an improvment for PLUS of one effect in the Benediction's part in the 30 Years Megademo. I decided to make it just after the ReSeT #28, so in about 2 weeks. Thanks to Brink for his music and to Pandafox to have accepted to do all the graphics from scratch in less than a week... ;)

  I consider also this megademo contains the most impressive (till now!) demopart ever seen on CPC: Back to Futurs.
