- 64k MS-Dos g-cube by Matrix
- I love this prod. Still a joy to watch, even now.

- demo MS-Dos Windows the fulcrum by Matrix
- I remember this one. I saw it in 2000ish for the first time, never having made it to M&S, and I recognize(d) the technical achievements, but... to me, it was, and still is, too dull for a thumb. Really makes you realize the difference good demo design makes. Still, definitely not a thumbs down - the (fake) effects are just too awesome for the time for that!

- 64k Windows The Hungarian Gambit by ate bit [web]
- (I mean, in other categories than 64k, obviously. I don't think there's anything to be proved there ;) )

- 64k Windows The Hungarian Gambit by ate bit [web]
- When I was first watching the scene, UK productions were rare.

When I first tried to become actively involved in the scene, the UK scene was almost nonexistent.

And now... look at what there is! Ate Bit just continue to win. I look forward to the time soon when AB is challenging for the top spot in compos at the biggest demo parties on a regular basis. Thumb!

- demo Windows Ceasefire (all falls down..) by Carillon & Cyberiad [web] & Fairlight [web]
- Late comment, but...

Loved the burning match and I liked the glitching too. I had been really hoping that this would be the Smash particle system demo in which objects / models were articulated, rather than their only motion capability (other than moving them around the shot) being to turn to smoke or explode. I look forward to seeing that happen. Design was good, as expected from modern FLT productions.

- demo MS-Dos Opticron: Tome of the Impossible by Craw Productions
- Great idea, not so great graphics, music and execution (feels very rough around the edges). So a piggy.

- demo MS-Dos Explicit by Hornet [web] & OTM
- I remember this! Loved the video-cubes. Seems so simple now, but then it was quite a nice effect. The graphician was pretty terrible though...

- demo MS-Dos Little Green Men by Kosmic Free Music Foundation [web]
- I remember when this came out and I just thought (with apologies to gooroo): "man, the code and graphics are pretty bad, but the music is great!" But then, what did you expect from a release by a music group? Thumb for the music, though, and for the nostalgia. "The real evidence of UFOs.."
